As many of you know I am obsessed with paper piecing, When I saw that Amy Friend was coming out with a book on paper piecing I knew that I needed to check it out.
The Tell Me a Story quilt project is a super simple block. I loved that It challenged me to pick fabrics that related in not just a design aspect… but fabric that created a story. I would like to say my story is about a lizard playing in a garden at dusk. I had a really good time going through my old coveted prints to make this block. It felt good to ACTUALLY use some of my hoarded stash.
I think this book is beautifully done, and stuffed with designs and unique applications of them.
My tribe quilt is just too adorable. I am just itching to make one or ten of those sweet TeePees.
